02 — Finish

Same block. Same light. Only the surface changes.

Finish is a specification, not a preference. It decides grip, glare and how a surface ages.

PolishedMirror gloss that deepens colour. Kitchens, walls, monuments.
HonedSmooth matte. Hides etching; calm, safer floors.
LeatheredSoft-touch texture with sheen. Hides fingerprints.
FlamedTorch-textured, grips when wet. Exteriors and steps.
03 — Book-match

Two slabs, opened like a book.

Consecutive slabs from one block, polished on the facing sides so the veining mirrors at the joint. We hold them in cutting sequence from the saw to the crate, so the match survives the voyage.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they order.

All 74 questions
Which finishes do you offer?

Polished, honed, leathered (brushed), flamed, sandblasted, bush-hammered, antique and river-washed. Not every stone suits every finish; flamed finishes, for example, work on granite but not on marble.

PolishedHigh gloss, deepest colourCountertops, walls, interior floors

Can you supply book-matched slabs?

Yes, for marbles, onyx and quartzites with strong veining. Slabs are kept in cutting sequence and numbered so they can be mirrored on site.

Natural stone or engineered quartz?

Quartz is uniform and needs no sealing, but it can scorch under hot pans and yellow in sunlight. Natural stone gives every slab a unique pattern, handles heat and UV, and holds its value. For outdoor use, granite is the safer choice.

Does natural stone need sealing?

Most natural stones benefit from a penetrating sealer after installation. Marble and onyx need it most; many dense granites need it rarely or never.
