actually goes.

The right stone for a lobby floor is the wrong stone for a pool surround. One slab, eleven lives.

Forms

Block, slab or tile: the same stone, supplied in the form your line is tooled for.

  • 01BlocksRough or dressed, selected at the quarry face for colour, crack lines and grain before they are committed.
  • 02SlabsGangsaw and cutter slabs, polished or finished to specification, graded so one order ships as one lot.
  • 03TilesCalibrated, bevelled and boxed by shade for fast installation across large programmes.

Sizes

Each order is placed on the partner line that cuts that size natively, so the slab is right first time instead of trimmed into shape.

  • 01Cut-to-size tilesMeasured against your drawing before they leave the floor.
  • 02Cutter sizeNarrower slabs for treads, risers, sills and copings.
  • 03Mini gangsawMid-format slabs from the smaller gangsaw lines.
  • 04Jumbo sizeFull-height gangsaw slabs for book-matched walls and lobbies.

Thickness

  • 0118 mmStandard
  • 0220 mmStandard
  • 0330 mmHeavier on request

Because every order goes to the line tooled for it, thickness follows the drawing rather than the factory. 18, 20 and 30 mm are standard; heavier sections, steps and copings are cut on request.

Edges

Cut-to-size

Edge profiles, done before it ships.

Countertops and vanities are produced against your approved drawing with the edge marked per side, so on-site work is installation, not fabrication.

Standard

Everyday edges for tops, sills and vanities.

  • Eased / pencil

Square edge, lightly softened. Clean and chip-resistant.

  • Quarter round

A small radius on the top arris only. Crisp, safe to touch.

  • Bevel

A small 45° chamfer on the top edge. Crisp and practical.

  • Half bevel

A deeper 45° cut across half the edge. Bold and architectural.

  • Half bullnose

Rounded top, flat bottom. Soft and family-friendly.

  • Full bullnose

Fully rounded edge. Classic, with no sharp corners.

Decorative

Sculpted profiles for traditional and statement pieces.

  • Ogee

S-shaped classic profile. Traditional kitchens and vanities.

  • Ogee bullnose

An ogee above a rounded underside. Formal, and kind to the hand.

  • Dupont

Square step dropping into a curve. Formal and refined.

  • Cove ogee

A concave cove flowing into a round. A soft shadow line.

  • Double quarter round

A small radius top and bottom. Easy to clean, hard to chip.

  • Stair nosing

A rounded nose with an undercut, for treads and steps.

Built-up · 40 mm+

A second layer or a mitred apron for an edge that reads twice as thick.

  • Laminated square

A strip bonded beneath for a deep, square-cut edge.

  • Laminated bullnose

Two layers rounded as one. Generous and soft.

  • Laminated ogee

The ogee cut across a doubled edge for a heavier look.

  • Laminated bevel

A deep chamfer across a doubled edge.

  • Mitred apron

Two pieces joined at 45° so the slab reads as one thick piece.

  • Waterfall

Mitred so the stone runs on, unbroken, down the side of an island.

Matching

Two-fold and four-fold. Consecutive slabs from one block, mirrored so the veining meets itself at the spine. The sequence is held from the saw to the crate.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they order.

All 74 questions
Which edge profiles can you cut?

Eighteen, in three families. Standard: eased, quarter round, bevel, half bevel, half and full bullnose. Decorative: ogee, ogee bullnose, Dupont, cove ogee, double quarter round and stair nosing. Built-up 40 mm+ edges: laminated square, bullnose, ogee and bevel, a mitred apron and the waterfall. The edge is marked per side on your approved drawing, so on-site work is installation, not fabrication.

Can you cut to our drawings?

Yes. Countertops, cladding panels, treads, risers, copings and sills are measured against the approved drawing before they leave the floor. Send the drawing with the enquiry and the quote is cut to it.

What slab thicknesses are available?

18, 20 and 30 mm are standard. Heavier sections, steps and copings are cut on request.

Which stone is best for outdoor use?

Granite and sandstone. Both handle sun, rain and frost well when chosen correctly. Marble and onyx are better kept indoors.
